About Conscious Aging

Conscious Aging is an emotional wellness program designed to offer mature adults hope and meaning to better cope with the stresses of aging. It also helps them to recognize opportunities so they can become motivated to grow in wisdom, depth and
creativity.

Conscious Aging is primarily based on research that focuses on the developmental stages throughout the life span. We never reach a fixed point of development--instead, we are continually evolving. Therefore, it is important to understand our changing motivational drives so we can intentionally create the activities that best facilitate our developmental needs.

Catherine Dockery, MA, is a trained facilitator, author, and life coach. She formerly led the Age-Friendly Denver initiative at the City and County of Denver.

Catherine is Director of the Center for Conscious Aging and conducts presentations, workshops, and consultations for older adults.
